I've been involved in the Bronze & Copper Alloys Industry for 9 years....well, not really. I married into the industry 9 years ago. So....officially it's been 3 years...and counting! Once I started learning about Copper Alloys and what a piece of cored bar versus a solid bar looks like...I was hooked! Honestly, the only other person that I know who shares this absurd passion is my dad (in-law) Tom Smith. See, I'm the author of this blog...but the real star is Tom. Not only is he a walking/talking volume of Bronze Encyclopedia's but he loves to help people just as much as I do. Tom has been in the Bronze & Copper Alloy industry for over 30 years. So you can imagine I just love listening to his stories and nuggets of knowledge.

OK back to me. Currently, I am the Marketing & Advertising person over at Atlas Bronze, located in Trenton, NJ. I kind of fell into the position because I was good at it. But who knew how much I'd love my job and the product I market.

In these 3 years that I have "officially" been working for Atlas Bronze I have found myself asking a bazillion questions a day. The "dumb" questions. The "repeat" questions. The "complex" questions. And everything in between. So I started keeping a journal ~if you will, of my questions & their answers. (Tom has a motto, "I'll answer any question, but you can only ask once!") Doing this I realized that there are tens of thousands of "newbies" in the industry, just like me, who also have these questions and need the answers. And not everyone is so lucky to have a "Tom" in their workplace where they can glean the answers. So this is my attempt to make my "journal"....your journal!
